Graham Washatka

Introduced to photography by his mother at an early age, Graham landed in the photo department at the Post Crescent newspaper when he was 16. There he learned foundational photography skills, working alongside the publication’s noted photojournalists.

He chose to study photojournalism at Ohio University, then chose to drop out after only one semester. Preferring the nomadic life to academics, Graham traveled the country then became an over-the-road truck driver for his family’s trucking business. After five years on the road he moved into the office as operations manager and dispatcher. The strong business experience gained there would serve him well years later.

Today, Graham is a top commercial photographer and leading event and portrait photographer. He has discovered a love of architecture and industrial photography and once again travels the country on behalf of clients.
