$40 per camera

Participants will:

  • Build a fully functional cardboard pinhole camera

  • Learn the fundamentals of pinhole photography

  • Load your camera with 120 film (included)

  • Leave with your camera ready to use for Pinhole Day (April 26th) or on your own

Registration is per camera. Up to two people may build together on one camera.

This is an intentionally small group experience with space for just 6 cameras total.

April 27th is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day!
Join us to experience using a pinhole camera made from recycled packaging cardboard!

Participants will:

- Have their own camera preloaded with 10 frames of film (We are offering a build your own option the day before on Saturday (limit 6). Link to camera build workshop
- Learn about pinhole photography and learn how to use the camera
- Spend 1-2 hours taking photos, with assistance for the “new” tech!
- Assist in developing the film
- Get scans of your photos!

Registration is per camera, up to two people. Bring a friend! Bring your kid!

  • Guided instruction on shooting with a pinhole camera

  • Cameras available for participants who do not have one

  • 120 film included 

  • Film development included

Expect event to end around 3pm, but might run longer.

Whether you built your camera in March (link to camera building) or are joining fresh in April, this workshop is designed to help you slow down, experiment, and embrace the magic of analog photography.
